BS EN 54-1:2011 Fire detection and fire alarm systems. Introduction This part of BS EN 54 defines the terms and definitions that are used throughout BS EN 54 . It gives the principles on which each part of the standard has been based and describes the functions carried out by the components of a fire detection and fire alarm system.
