What is ISO 20251 – Water impermeability test for textile floor coverings about ?
Daily hygiene requires regular cleaning of floors and textiles covering the floors. These include carpets, floor mats, doormats, etc. During cleansing, these products come in contact with water along with several chemicals. ISO 20251 specifies the laboratory test method for determining the water impermeability of textile floor coverings. Note: Method mentioned in ISO 20251 cannot be used to characterize a wall-to-wall installation of textile floor covering tiles.
