What is ISO 630‑1 about?
ISO 630-1 is the first part in the multi-series of International Standards on ‘Steels for structural purposes.’ ISO 630‑1 specifies the general technical delivery conditions for steel flat and long products (plates/ sections/wide flats and bars) used principally for general-purpose structural steels. The steels specified in ISO 630‑1 are intended for use in welded or bolted structures. ISO 630‑1 does not include the following structural steels, some of which are covered by other International Standards:
