Overview

EN ISO 10298:2020/A1:2022 (ISO 10298:2018/Amd 1:2021) is an amendment to the international standard for gas cylinders that provides authoritative guidance on the determination of toxicity for gases and gas mixtures to support the selection of cylinder valve outlets. The standard compiles best-available acute inhalation toxicity data from the literature so that gases and mixtures can be classified for toxicity by inhalation and appropriate valve outlet types can be selected to reduce handling and exposure risks.
