EN ISO 7225:2007 (ISO 7225:2005) specifies the design, content and application of precautionary labels for gas cylinders. It covers labels intended for individual cylinders containing single gases or gas mixtures and aligns label requirements with the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods. Labels for cylinder bundles or bundle labels are explicitly excluded.

- The filler is responsible for correct attachment, replacement and legibility of labels. Old labels must be removed unless the new label information is identical.
