IEC 61883-4:2004 - "Consumer audio/video equipment - Digital interface - Part 4: MPEG2-TS data transmission" specifies how MPEG-2 Transport Streams (MPEG2-TS) are packetized and timed for transport over the IEEE 1394 (FireWire) digital interface.
