Overview
IEC 61892-4:2007 - Mobile and fixed offshore units: Electrical installations - Part 4: Cables specifies requirements for the selection and installation of electrical cables used in fixed electrical systems on mobile and fixed offshore units. It covers cables for drilling, production, processing and storage facilities in the offshore petroleum industry, including pumping ("pigging") stations, compressor stations and exposed single buoy moorings.
