Overview
ISO 10649-2:2013 specifies the dimensions and designation of cutter arbors (tool holders) with a parallel key and tenon drive that use a hollow taper (HSK) interface with a flange contact surface. The standard defines geometry, material requirements, marking rules and delivery items to ensure interchangeability, safe tool clamping and collision avoidance when changing assembled tools in machine tools.
