Overview
ISO 10893-1:2011 specifies requirements for automated electromagnetic non-destructive testing (NDT) of seamless and welded steel tubes (excluding submerged arc‑welded - SAW) to verify hydraulic leaktightness. The standard covers eddy current and magnetic flux leakage (MFL) inspection techniques, applicable to tubes (and hollow sections) with outside diameters ≥ 4 mm for eddy current and > 10 mm for flux leakage.
