Overview
ISO 13143:2025 - Electronic fee collection - Evaluation of on-board and roadside equipment for conformity to ISO 12813 specifies the Test Suite Structure (TSS) and Test Purposes (TPs) used to evaluate the conformity of Dedicated Short-Range Communication (DSRC) on-board equipment (OBE) and roadside equipment (RSE) to ISO 12813. The standard defines how conformance testing is organised to support interoperability between equipment from different manufacturers, focusing on the Compliance Check Communication (CCC) interface level. Internal functional behaviour of OBE/RSE is explicitly outside the scope.
