Overview
ISO 14829:2002 - "Freight containers - Straddle carriers for freight container handling - Calculation of stability" defines the calculations and criteria to determine the static and dynamic stability of straddle carriers used for handling freight containers. The standard specifies required load cases, coordinate determination, variable dimensions, and formulae for transverse and longitudinal stability assessments.
