Overview
ISO 16874:2004 - "Hydraulic fluid power - Identification of manifold assemblies and their components" defines a standardized system for marking and identifying hydraulic manifolds, their mounting surfaces and cavities, ports, and installed components. The standard requires unique, traceable identifiers on manifold blocks that correlate directly with circuit diagrams, bills of material, assembly drawings and service documentation to facilitate assembly, installation, operation and maintenance of hydraulic systems.
