Overview
ISO 18541-3:2021 - "Road vehicles - Standardized access to automotive repair and maintenance information (RMI) - Part 3: Functional user interface requirements" defines functional user-interface (UI) requirements for vehicle manufacturers’ RMI systems. The standard aims to standardize how independent operators (IOs) access repair and maintenance information so that navigation, entry points and support elements are consistent across vehicle manufacturer (VM) websites. ISO 18541-3:2021 is the second edition and aligns with the use cases in ISO 18541-1.
