ISO 19264-1:2021 - Photography - Archiving systems - Imaging systems quality analysis - Part 1: Reflective originals - defines a standardized method for assessing the quality of imaging systems used to digitize cultural heritage materials. The method analyzes multiple image-quality characteristics from a single scan or photograph of a specified test target (reflective originals). The standard specifies which characteristics to measure, how to measure them, and how to present the results, helping ensure repeatable, objective evaluation of scanners and digital cameras in archiving workflows.
