Overview
ISO 20140-2:2018 - part of the ISO 20140 series on automation systems and integration - defines a structured environmental performance evaluation process for manufacturing systems. The standard specifies how to develop an evaluation specification, define and calculate environmental KPIs, and report results using aggregated EPE data (environmental performance evaluation data). It is applicable to discrete, batch and continuous manufacturing systems with hierarchical structures and focuses on energy efficiency and other environmental influences (e.g., energy consumption, waste, emissions).
