Overview
ISO 21210:2012 - "Intelligent transport systems (ITS) - Communications access for land mobiles (CALM) - IPv6 Networking" - defines how standard IETF IPv6 protocols are combined and applied so ITS stations can communicate over the global Internet. It does not create new IPv6 protocols or message formats; instead it specifies required IPv6 networking functionality, mobility and addressing behavior, and how IPv6 integrates with the CALM architecture to provide global reachability and continuous connectivity for ITS.
