Overview
ISO 25178-3:2012 defines the complete specification operator for areal surface texture (scale-limited surfaces) as part of the ISO 25178 GPS (Geometrical Product Specifications) series. It specifies the unambiguous sequence of operations needed to describe an areal surface texture measurand: the type of surface, method of extraction, association method, and filtration.
