Overview

ISO 3095:2013 - Acoustics: Measurement of noise emitted by railbound vehicles defines standardized methods to measure reproducible and comparable exterior noise emission levels and spectra from rail vehicles (hereafter “units”). The standard is aimed at type testing and characterizing the acoustic source strength of rolling stock while minimizing influence from track and environment.
