ISO 4857:2023 - Ships and marine technology - Test procedures and methods for windlasses and winches - specifies factory acceptance test (FAT) procedures for a complete windlass and winch system after assembly. - Tests must follow specified sequence; irrelevant items may be omitted based on configuration; only one coaxial device of same spec may be tested; alternative power supply allowed if agreed.
