ISO 55001:2024 - Asset management - Asset management system - Requirements - defines the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an asset management system (AMS). Applicable to all types and sizes of organizations and to all asset types (physical and non‑physical), the standard focuses on achieving realized value from assets across their life‑cycle, meeting applicable requirements, and driving continual improvement of asset performance and the AMS itself. ISO 55001:2024 is the second edition and replaces ISO 55001:2014.
