Overview
ISO/IEC 10164-6:1993 - "Information technology - Open Systems Interconnection - Systems Management: Log control function" defines the log control Systems Management Function (SMF) within the OSI application layer. Published as Part 6 of the multipart ISO/IEC 10164 family, the standard establishes user requirements, conceptual models, service definitions and the protocol essentials required to manage logs and log records in an OSI-based management environment.
