Overview

EN ISO 13500:2008/A1:2010 (issued by CEN as EN ISO 13500:2008/A1) is a European adoption of ISO 13500:2008 Amendment 1 (2010) that adds a new product class - Barite 4,1 - to the existing standard for drilling fluid materials. The amendment defines physical and chemical specifications, sampling and test methods for Barite 4,1 used in petroleum and natural gas drilling fluids and supplements, but does not replace the original Barite requirements in Clause 7. It also aligns with the related API Specification 13A amendment.
