EN ISO 15005:2017 (ISO 15005:2017) defines ergonomic dialogue management principles and compliance procedures for transport information and control systems (TICS) used in road vehicles while the vehicle is in motion. The standard addresses human–machine interaction between the driver and on‑board systems (infotainment, navigation, voice assistants, ADAS interfaces) and sets out how dialogues should be designed so they do not impair safe vehicle control. This edition supersedes earlier versions and is published as a CEN-endorsed European Standard.
