Overview
EN ISO 15025:2016 (ISO 15025:2016) is an international test method for evaluating limited flame spread of vertically oriented flexible materials used in protective clothing. Published by CEN/ISO, it defines controlled laboratory procedures to determine how single- and multi-component fabrics (coated, quilted, multilayer and similar constructions) respond to a small defined flame. The standard is not intended for materials exposed to restricted air supply, large intense heat sources, or for materials that show extensive melting or shrinkage.
