Overview
SIST EN ISO 17225-1:2021 - Solid biofuels: Fuel specifications and classes, Part 1: General requirements defines the classification principles, fuel quality classes and general specifications for solid biofuels from forestry/arboriculture, agriculture/horticulture and aquaculture. It is the 2021 edition (second edition) of ISO 17225-1 and is adopted as a CEN/EN standard. The standard supports transparent trading, equipment compatibility and regulatory reporting for woody, herbaceous, fruit and aquatic biomass as well as biodegradable waste used as fuel.
