Abstract

Overview

EN ISO 6360-2:2004/A1:2011 (ISO 6360-2:2004/Amd 1:2011) is a CEN-endorsed amendment to the international standard that defines the number coding system for rotary dental instruments - Part 2: Shapes. This Amendment 1 (approved December 2011) updates the shape and design tables used to assign numeric codes and multilingual designations to rotary instrument geometries (e.g., wheels, discs, cylindrical and conical shapes, trephines). The document is published in English, French and German and was required to be adopted by CEN members as a national standard by mid-2012.
