Overview

EN ISO 10893-1:2011/A1:2020 is Amendment 1 to the international standard for automated electromagnetic non-destructive testing (NDT) of steel tubes. The amendment applies to seamless and welded steel tubes (except submerged arc-welded) used where verification of hydraulic leaktightness is required. Approved by CEN in May 2020, the amendment updates calibration and acceptance provisions to improve consistency of inspection and leak-detection performance.
