Overview
ISO 13281:1997 defines the functional architecture of MAPLE - the Manufacturing Automation Programming Environment. MAPLE is a vendor‑independent, language‑neutral support facility for programming multiple manufacturing devices and controls (NC machines, robots, PLCs, cells).
