Overview

ISO 13521:2023 - Austenitic manganese steel castings - is an international standard that specifies austenitic manganese cast steels intended for wear‑resistant service where surfaces are subject to impact. This third edition (2023) is a minor revision of the 2015 edition and sets delivery, heat‑treatment, chemical, mechanical test and microstructure requirements to maximize service life of impact‑loaded cast components.
