Overview
ISO 14116:2015 - "Protective clothing - Protection against flame - Limited flame spread materials, material assemblies and clothing" specifies minimum performance, design and information requirements to reduce the risk that clothing will ignite or continue to burn after brief, occasional contact with small flames. The standard covers testing, classification and marking of materials, material assemblies and garments that exhibit limited flame spread, and gives practical rules for sampling, pre-treatment, ageing and conformity checks.
