ISO 4586-6:2018 specifies classification and performance requirements for exterior‑grade compact high‑pressure decorative laminates (HPL, HPDL) with a nominal thickness of 2 mm and greater. The standard covers both standard and flame‑retardant exterior laminates intended for direct outdoor exposure (sunlight, rain, frost).
