ISO 5744:2004 - "Pliers and nippers - Methods of test" specifies standardized test methods for checking the correct functioning of pliers and nippers. The third edition (2004) defines reproducible procedures and parameters based on functional uses of the tools to verify strength, cutting performance and mechanical integrity.
