Description (English):
This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (ISO 864:1975), of which it constitutes a technical revision. The nominal diameters of wires are extended to 6,0 mm, and the tolerances are more subdivided. The nominal diameters of spools, rims and coils are maintained.
