Overview - ISO/IEC 30140-3:2018 (UWASN Entities and Interfaces)
ISO/IEC 30140-3:2018 is Part 3 of the ISO/IEC 30140 series that defines high-level entities and interfaces for Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks (UWASN). The standard provides a reference architecture view that distinguishes physical entities (e.g., underwater acoustic sensor nodes, gateways, relay nodes) and functional entities (layered functions such as UWA‑PHY, UWA‑DL, UWA‑NWK, UWA‑BUN, UWA‑APS and cross‑layer management).
