Overview

ISO/IEC 9995-2:2009/Amd 1:2012 is an amendment to Part 2 of the ISO/IEC 9995 series - the international standard for keyboard layouts for text and office systems. This amendment specifically defines requirements for numeric keypad emulation on alphanumeric keyboard sections. It was prepared by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 35 (User interfaces) and clarifies how an emulated numeric keypad should be allocated and represented on keyboards that do not have a dedicated numeric pad.
